VidToon Review: HOW DOES VIDTOON WORK?
- Step 1: Adding backgrounds: VidToon comes with many HD backgrounds ready to use and really cute, which you can use right away. You can even upload your own templates for background use. Simply drag the desired background and drop it into the timeline image track. You can resize it to fit the screen. If you click the Settings icon, you will be able to set when you want the background to start appearing, for as long as you want it to last, which is better to do in the timeline. You can also flip it over. With the color function, you can change the background image to color and you can also add an effect that appears and disappears. You can even add a motion effect by using the move to ... You can then add more backgrounds to your timeline if you want, so you can create a story animation with them. Then you can click the play button to see what the backgrounds look like so far.
- Step 2: Add characters: VidToon also offers you a variety of really cute HD animated characters to choose from. You can use the search function at the top to locate a desired one. Simply drag the desired character and throw it into the timeline. You are even able to resize the character and adapt it to the scenario you are using. You can then click the Settings icon to preview all the cool animations the character has. If you want your character to perform the animation continuously, simply click on the Loop checkbox. You can also add an effect that appears and disappears as well as moving an effect. You can also add additional characters and have them do whatever you want in your story.
- Step 3: Add voice and text: You can even add automated voice, Google TTS voice or even record your own voice and add it to animations. Just grab the text-to-speech icon and throw it on the audio track of the timeline. Then click the Settings icon and here you can add the Google API key if you want to use Google's service to speak or use the default voices that come here. In the box below, you should add the text you want to be told with the automatic voice and voila, the voice will be added automatically to the scene. This is completely wonderful if you want to record your voice instead. Simply tap the microphone icon on the audio track in the timeline, and in settings you can start recording, stop recording, play the recording, or delete the recording. You may not want to add voice to your story so you can use text or even use both texts. Simply drag and drop the text icon into the image track, then go to settings and edit the background color, text color, font, the position of text, size edit the content of your text and even add animation effects to it.
- Step 4: Add music: Finally, you can add music to your animated video from the list of music tracks listed here. You can also upload your own music. In settings, you will be able to set the music to the loop and even edit its volume. Using a real person's voice is the best thing you should do, but you still don't have the professional equipment you need to make it looks perfect. You can have a professional voice to record the voice for you and upload it as a music track and add it to the audio track along with the music. You just have to adjust the volume on both music and voice-over.
